The City of El Paso is hosting a Green Business Challenge to promote and celebrate environmentally-responsible businesses.

Through this challenge, businesses are learning how to increase their energy efficiency and reduce their environmental impact, all while reducing their bottom-line costs.

Commercial building property managers, property owners and office tenants participating in the challenge will have access to trainings and resources for reducing energy consumption, waste generation and water use. By greening their operations, businesses can save money on energy, supplies, and water bills, while minimizing waste and pollution.

Participants demonstrating achievements in energy efficiency during this year-long initiative will be highlighted in the Challenge’s public outreach campaign and will be recognized by the Mayor and City Council at a Gala in April.
